8.2.8
Previous Round

This item will not be available for knockout programs, promotion matches or first round matches of 4-8 team division. The item allows event and league points to be recorded for all the teams in all rounds in a division points file. These points are then added, at the end of match, to the current points totals to give cumulative points and league standings. Additions or subtractions of points for officials etc. at previous round(s) should also be included.

If cumulative league points/positions are required previous round points should be set before the first event result of the current match is entered. This allows the points and standings to be viewed, in the Display group, before the match starts and ensures the cumulative points and positions will be available to be printed or displayed at the end of the match. The following applies:

  1. The club abbreviations used in the current match should be the same as previous round(s).
  2. Clubs names and abbreviation should be entered against the team numbers or letter shown.
  3. All points fields must be completed using 0's if necessary for the points to be saved.
When the Previous Round item is selected the program will ask if a search for match files related to the current match teams should be made and the points automatically load. The suggested answer will be displayed however, this may not truly represent all points from all previous rounds but can save time when entering previous round points.

Answering yes will search for previous round match files and if found will always replace any points in any existing division points file. Where points information is missing the points for that round will be set to 0 and have to be set by selecting the relevant team. Answering no means all points will initially show 0 and all teams for all rounds must have previous round points entered manually. At this point a question will be asked.

For large divisions, 9, 16 and 25 teams, an additional question will be asked. It is left to the user to choose which answer to give.

Answering Yes will allow the opportunity to enter all the other team names in the division. The current match teams will be filled automatically, the other teams can be left blank, partially or fully filled.

8.2.8.1
Division Teams

After automatic, or not, loading of other match points a menu showing all division teams will be displayed.

Selecting any team from the menu allows the points for that team in all previous rounds to be entered.
